To resolve challenging financial and custody issues efficiently, he regularly collaborates with forensic accountants, valuation experts, mediators, and custody evaluators.
Carlos earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. While in law school, he served as a Child Support Enforcement Certified Student Attorney with the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office, representing the county in more than 150 child support hearings. Carlos is admitted to the State Bar of California and is an active member of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Family Law Section and ProVisors.
Committed to service, Carlos volunteers as a Settlement Officer with the San Francisco Superior Court, assisting parties in resolving dissolution and other contested matters. He was honored with the Justice and Diversity Center’s Outstanding Volunteer Award in 2013 and has also contributed to the legal field through writing, including co-authoring a published article addressing the intersection of family law and probate issues.
