Julie Yin Zong

Julie’s practice focuses on employment litigation. She litigates a broad range of employment-related matters before the California State and Federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

In addition, Julie has experience with Employment Practices Liability relating to coverage as it relates to corporations and individual exectives. She represents international and domestic insurers in all aspects of claims handling and coverage issues. She also advised insurers regarding liabilities faced by employers and underwriting considerations relevant to insuring those liabilities. Her experience included monitoring of complex claims and conducting exposure assessments of such claims nationwisde, the representation of insurers at mediaiton and through the negotiation of settlements and policy drafting.

During law school, Julie was an Articles Editor for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, and served as an extern to the Presiding Judge of San Francisco Superior Court.
