Biography
Effective, experienced, and passionate about serving the best interests of children and families, Terrance Heath with Heath Law Group, P.C., formally Heath-Newton LLC., is a full-service family law firm in downtown San Francisco, CA.
Terrance is also a trained mediator and a Certified Family Law Specialist. In particular, Terrance specializes in helping blended families manage issues related to same-sex parenting and offers expertise in handling the dissolution of domestic relationships without legal status.
Through his work, Terrance espouses a focus on providing high-quality, accessible services to families and individuals.
A graduate of Boston College Law School and the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Political Science, Terrance previously worked with estate planning, trust and probate litigation, and elder law issues. A fourth generation Bay Area native, he was a member of Cornerstone Law Group, APC, and managed production of research products for VentureOne Corp., both in San Francisco.
Terrance also served in the Peace Corps in Bucharest, Romania, advising small-business people and consulting with public entities on small-business growth and development. While in Romania, he also taught prospective judges about American legal principles and trial advocacy through the ABA’s Central and Eastern European Law Initiative and the Romanian Ministry of Justice, and served the legal needs of international investors through his work at Hall Dickler (Romania) SRL.
Former recipient of the Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award from the Bar Association of San Francisco, Terrance is a member of the Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom and the Association for Certified Family Law Specialists.
In 2014 Terrance received his master’s degree in Law Firm Management through George Washington University.
