Jason Marx Erlich

McCormack & Erlich focuses its practice on representing individuals in employment disputes including race, sex, disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, wage and hour claims, wrongful termination, and all manner of labor and employment law violations.  

Prior to founding the firm, Jason spent several years specializing in labor and employment law representing individuals and labor unions.  Jason has also worked as a union organizer on successful campaigns to unionize public-sector employees.

Jason was born and raised in Oakland, California.  He graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1994.  After graduating from Hastings College of the Law in 1999, Jason was admitted to the California Bar in the same year.  He is admitted and licensed to practice before all state and federal courts in the State of California.

Jason continues to volunteer his time by providing pro bono legal services through the Worker’s Rights Clinic advising low-income employees on a variety of employment-related issues.  He also volunteers his time through the Housing Negotiation Project working with tenants facing imminent eviction. 

Jason enjoys biking, hiking, skiing, camping, traveling and outdoor activities.  He has traveled, hiked, camped and skied throughout the world including trips to the Middle East, South East Asia, Mexico, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
