For nearly twenty five years, David Hoppe’s practice has focused on cutting-edge media and technology companies, with a particular expertise in digital media, video games and virtual reality. He combines the sophistication and global perspective of an international transactional attorney with the hands-on understanding of the day-to-day realities of startups, growing companies, and enterprises going global.
David began his career at two international law firms, Jones Day and White & Case, based in Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, Stockholm and Helsinki. He served as International Counsel for , a NASDAQ-listed web portal, and North America General Counsel of Capcom, the Japanese video game publisher.
David launched his independent law practice in 2003. Clients of Gamma Law are at every stage of the business lifecycle, from startups and entrepreneurs to global publicly-listed corporations. However, without exception, they all benefit from the same things: personal service; responsiveness and attention to detail; a truly strategic perspective, informed by extensive global experience; and a hands-on familiarity with the ins and outs of navigating through the competitive landscape at the intersection of business, technology and law.
