Craig M. Peters has been a trial attorney for over two decades. He litigates complex cases involving wrongful death as well as those with catastrophic life- or career-changing injuries. He is a four-time finalist for the SFTLA Trial Lawyer of the Year, a finalist for Marin County Trial Lawyer of the Year and a two-time finalist for the CAOC’s Consumer Attorney of the Year.
Mr. Peters is listed as a Super Lawyer and has taught courses in Evidence, Trial Practice, Criminal Law and Constitutional Law. Prior to his current practice, Craig was a trial attorney representing victims of asbestos exposure throughout the State of California. He was also a criminal defense attorney for 13 years and went to trial on a full range of cases from misdemeanors to felonies. For the last three years of his criminal defense work, Craig was the Director of Training for the Office of the Public Defender in San Francisco.
Currently, Craig sits on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ), he is Co-Chair of the Coalition Against Human Trafficking for the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and is a Vice President of the Consumer Attorneys of California.
