This is my first ever experience with an attorney and in regards to a work-related injury. While was working injured (light duty) different people at different times told me to contact her. I was nervous with many questions and what-ifs in regards to her and work and they all just told me to cont...act her and everything would be fine. It wasn’t until weeks later that I finally decided to contacted Brittany because my worries, fears, and anxiety with work steadily started to consume me. It wasn’t until I had a consultation with her did I really feel what my coworkers expressed to me; that everything would be fine. She answered all my concerns and all my questions and explained how it would be going forward would be. My worries and anxiety quickly dissipated and turned to trust and confidence in her as well as prove to me that she was very competent in the matter. I felt going forward with her was the right decision. I really appreciated the fact that she periodically checked on me (my well-being, if I was receiving the proper care on time): before my surgery, post-surgery, my rehab, and throughout my recovery leading up to my return to work. If I had any questions or concerns, I was never hesitant or felt scared to contact her. She responds almost immediately and if she can’t, she certainly gets back in a timely manner. If there were any issues she was very diligent in resolving them. I couldn’t be any happier with her and highly recommend her.

Excellent lawyer

Brittany is very knowledgeable and tough. I got injured in May 2019, I hired her in the end of June. She got me a great doctor and I had my surgery in the beginning of August. I’m amazed with the speed of the whole process. My case is settled and I’m very content with the outcome. If you’re looking ...for an excellent workers comp lawyer, look no further!

Brittany Huynh is an angel sent from above. I have a complicated case. I worked for the largest environmental remediation contractor in California, actually in the Country. I needed a respirator for the chemicals I was working with, but they wouldn’t provide one. In August, 2016 I was injured a...t work, I was exposed to a chemical, a 2-part epoxy that was corrosive and toxic. They didn’t want to take responsibility for it or get a Workman’s Comp (WC) claim. The clinic they sent me to wanted to give me a prescription steroid inhaler, my company said they didn’t want me to get any prescriptions because that would give them a WC hit. So, I had to try to heal with some less effective non-prescription medicine. And they still didn’t get me a respirator! 6 months later, I had my second exposure it was 10 times worse than the first one. Again, this company didn’t want a WC claim. Their insurance company said it wasn’t from work even though I was injured on the job from their chemicals and it was documented. I confronted the insurance case worker on the phone, she said, “We can’t accept every case we get, we couldn’t afford it”. They wouldn’t provide me with competent medical care. I had to get my own doctor and I filed a claim with the California Department of Workman’s Compensation (CDWC) myself, that forced them to address it. The insurance company hired a lawyer to fight it. It was insane. I was seriously injured with severe breathing problems, chest pain and dizziness. I couldn’t talk above a whisper without severe coughing. I had asthma symptoms even though I had never had asthma in my life. My doctor prescribed a steroid inhaler. I was on it for 10 months till I got better. I tried to get a WC lawyer but I couldn’t find one that would take my case because it was so complicated. No one wanted to help me, so I went to the CDWC to fight this myself. In November 2018, Brittany Huynh was at the CDWC office and overheard me dealing with the agency. She approached me after my business was done and questioned me about my case. She felt bad that I had to deal with this without representation. She offered to help me. I was so grateful. I didn’t stand much of a chance against the insurance company and their attorney by myself. Brittany got the case rolling. I had a deposition with the insurance co attorney. It was a 3 day grilling. Brittany defended me brilliantly. She is very professional, and she knows the law. She stood firm against their attacks. She took on this “not so nice attorney” and the insurance company. They didn’t want me to see a doctor or pay me a dime. I had been fighting with them on this case for over a year and a half by myself. Brittany stepped in and brought this to a settlement in 7 months. I wasn’t expecting anything. All I wanted to do was to see a specialist and to get well. My lungs are important to me. However, Brittany worked very hard for me. She was able to get me a very handsome compensation for my suffering. I will probably have to take the inhalers intermittently for the rest of my life, but Brittany made sure justice was served! They wanted me to go away and not have to pay anything. Not with Brittany representing me. I am eternally grateful for her help. She turned a really bad situation into a positive one. I highly recommend her.
