Although, I likely don't have a case yet, Nicholas was extremely polite and answered the phone after hours. He provided me some self-help tips on mitigating my current situation. Towards the end, we ended up talking about our kids. Very friendly and educational. Thank you!

Excellent and kind!!
I am being sued by my old landlord and being that I have never been in trouble with the law or had to appear in court, I was terrified. I did an extensive search for attorneys that could assist me in preparing for my case. Most responses I received were very impersonal. Nicholas Jellins responded to my email in a timely manner and was available when I needed. He was very reassuring and made me feel less terrified about the court system and how to present my case. He listened to everything I had to say and gave me sound advice on each matter. He reassured me that I would have time to explain my situation because that was a big concern of mine. He is very knowledgeable and most importantly, very personable. After guiding me through the process and giving me sound advice, he said he would be available if I needed further assistance or had any other questions. I would highly recommend The Jellins Group for your legal matters!

Excellent help with a landlord that had rented a property to me that was not a legal residence. Went way out of his way to make sure my legal needs were taken care of. Deep research, wise advice and clear options for moving forward
I was very impressed overall. Nicholas reviewed a *lot* of information relating to my inquiry, and dug deep into the details of my real estate probate mystery (including consulting with other experts). He provided me with a clear context on what was going on, and established a path to resolution of the issue. He billed me exactly what he initially quoted, even though the situation was more complex than either of us would have originally anticipated. A well earned 5 stars. (Also, Sean was responsive and professional in helping me set up an appointment. These folks are very easy to work with.)

A Great Attorney
I can’t say enough about Nicholas and this firm. His expertise, intelligence, diligence and knowledge of the law is only matched by his decency and ethics. Nicholas turned around a potentially awful situation for myself and my child. I’d spoken with numerous experts and they missed key details that Nicholas found. More than just that Nicholas has a deeply human touch and is a gentlemen’s gentleman through and through. The respect he has in the field meant that the opposing counsel treated us with respect and a solution was found with ease. I can’t say enough. Help with lease termination agreement
I was tenant in rent-protected apartment complex that was being remodeled and my landlord offered me lease termination agreement, at which point I hired Mr. Jellins to review to contract and explain it to me, which he did in timely and professional fashion. Mr. Jellins was very patient answering all and any questions I had.

Great lawyer tenant-landlord disputes
We sought Mr. Jellins' help while navigating a dispute with our former landlords. In our initial phone call, he kindly and patiently outlined the routes we could potentially take, and how he could help us with each of them. After surveying a few other attorneys, we found the prospect of working with Mr. Jellins to be the most promising, so we moved forward with his services. He and his associates were very accommodating throughout our experience, doing research, providing resources, and helping us understand all aspects of our situation. This enabled us to prepare a letter to our landlords ourselves, which he then carefully edited. Through his assistance, we were able to attain a favorable result. Knowledgable and Professional
I engaged Mr. Jellins to handle a tenant issue. I found Mr. Jellins to be very professional and highly knowledgable about landlord/tenant issues. Before I engaged him to perform work, he provided very helpful guidance. After interviewing a number of other attorneys, I found Mr. Jellin's guidance to be most thorough, thus I engaged him for services. He did the research and provided me with all of the necessary information. From there, we agreed that I could save on fees if I prepared the letter to the tenant myself armed with his research. He refunded a part of the retainer for work he did not need to perform. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic!
I consulted with Nicholas on a tree/boundary dispute I am facing with my neighbor. Nicholas was exceptional - first asking a series of methodical questions to understand the situation and then proposing a couple of possible paths for me to proceed. Most importantly, he answered my core question about the legal issues involved in my case without obfuscation or hedging. He is very knowledgeable about the law as well as its practical application by cities and counties on the peninsula. A short consultation with him was all I needed to get me started in tackling my issue, but if I need more formal legal support on this, there is no question in my mind that I would hire Nicholas. I would recommend him to anybody looking for an a top-class attorney.

Excellent Service!
Nicholas helped me out of a sticky housing situation. He was very responsive, knowledgeable and dealt with the housing authority very well. I highly recommend Nicholas for anyone experience trouble with their landlord or apartment management company.

Very professional attorney and associates, great results
From the initial consultation to the conclusion of our case, Attorney Jellins was very informative and always giving updates along the way. We had the pleasure to work with a few of his associates, whether it be through email or phone calls, they made everything easy to understand and let us know exactly what stage of our case we were at. We initially contacted Attorney Jellins with a very last minute court matter, but he was kind and walked us through the steps needed to get things done. After reviewing the case file and interviewing the client, we prepared a strategy that enabled the client to retain our services with a small deposit to cover the court filing fees and then pay our attorney's fees from the recovery at the end.

I consulted Mr. Jellins regarding a real estate deal in escrow facing some issues. He explained to me in clear terms general obligations and responsibilities and that the contract must be followed. He gave me good general advice and a list of questions to ask the seller's agent. As he does not have the full contract and other signed forms, he was not able to provide more detailed recommendations. But even with the general guidance and the recommended list of questions to, he was extremely helpful. We are not yet at a stage where I need to hire him, but I will if things get to that point or I need legal counsel.
