Biography
Brian M. Worthington was not out of the University of San Francisco, School of Law long before he began taking on complex criminal cases, including representing clients accused of sex crimes and homicide. Nearly ten years later, Mr. Worthington is now an experienced trial attorney who handles cases throughout Northern California. He has handled cases involving DUI, embezzlement, resisting arrest, domestic violence, rape, and child sexual abuses. In emotionally-charged cases such as these, tensions can often run high. Mr. Worthington has successfully navigated his clients through these difficult situations to obtain the best possible outcome. In many cases (including sex crime cases) he has been able to have charges dismissed without having to go to trial.
Outside of his legal work, Mr. Worthington is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Pacific Juvenile Defenders Conference. He also formerly served on the Board of Governors for the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice
