W. F. Docker is a fifth generation Fresnan and a third generation Fresno attorney. He is a senior partner with McCormick Barstow, having joined the firm in 1977, and is the current chair of the Business Ventures, Estate Planning and Tax Practice Group.
Mr. Docker represents and counsels clients in the agricultural industry and serves as general counsel for various processing, packing and packaging facilities. He represents farmers and business owners in connection with all matters, including entity selection and formation, leases, sales and acquisitions and assists farmers and business owners in estate planning and family and business succession planning. He also has extensive experience in estate and trust administration, representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in routine and contested probate and trust accounting and administration matters.
Mr. Docker has served on the Fresno Philharmonic Board of Directors and was Board President in 2002-2004 and 2006-2008. Mr. Docker has also served on the Board of Directors of the Central California Blood Center.
