Oftentimes emotions are high when dealing with an estate after the death of a loved one, and I've learned that when it comes to money, it tends to bring out the absolute worst in people. Mr. Huerta helped me to understand my rights and how to best proceed with questions to do with a will and beneficiaries of the estate of my long time partner. Mr. Huerta was level headed, a good listener, and gave sound advice to help towards closure of a painful situation. He comes highly recommended.

I would recommend Frank Hurta Jr for anyone with a tax problem
A week out of the hopsital I received a frightening letter from the IRS demanding a $22,000 payment a scant 3 weeks later. We attempted contacting a number of attorneys to no avail, but Mr Huerta returned our call and agreed to meet us. His calm, quiet assuring demeanor helped tremendously. We felt confident immediately that he would be trustworthy, professional and capable and retained his services. He carefully described a plan of action including a written list of materials he would need from us and we proceeded to obtain those. On several occasions, I needed to contact Mr Huerta for clarifications and he was always either available or prompt in his replies. In short, he easily ascertained the problem, profferred all the corrected information to the IRS and rather than owing a jaw-dropping heart-stopping $22,000, we owe a corrected figure of $153.00. The retainer we paid Mr Huerta was well worth it in peace of mind, in financial savings and I woud recommend Mr Huerta to anyone with tax difficulty. He dealt with us honestly, diligently, and is a fine gentleman besides.

Thank you sir, I know that attorneys of course want a fee for their services, but there are times when a client may be able to handle a matter with only a little bit of direction. There are many tax providers promising pennies on the dollar and state that they will only help you if you owe more than $10,000. That is because they only steer you to the offer and compromise program and charge between $6000-7000 without proper analysis. As part of my practice I want to help people but at the same time, I am upfront and handle issues of varying size. I am glad that the advice I gave you reduced your tax liability and that I could be of help to you.

"Frank has a vast amount of experience in tax law. I have called him many times to discuss the tax consequences of settlements and judgments for my clients. It's always a pleasure to work with Frank, as he is so even-keeled and reasonable in even the most trying situations. I would certainly recommend him for any issues you might be facing with federal or California tax authorities."
