Melina Shalysse Benninghoff

I hired Ms. Benninghoff about a year after being charged with 3 felonies. She took over my case, which was a very large case, and caught up fairly quickly. My case was a very publicized case in San Luis Obispo County and she handled everything amazingly! She is a very knowledgeable attorney and goes ...above and beyond for your clients. When we went to jury trial, she was amazing! She did not let the DAs Office mess around with my case and violate my rights which allowed me to get a fair trial. Due to her knowledge and skills, I was acquitted of ALL of my charges. She is amazing! I would recommend her to anyone! She is a very busy attorney because she is very good at her job and cares about her cases. A busy attorney is a good attorney. Slow attorneys, probably aren’t that good. The money I spent for her to represent me was beyond worth it. I can’t say it enough, her and her team are AMAZING! I recommend them over and over again. Ms. Benninghoff is the best around!

I hired her for divorce and custody, she did nothing, she wont keep apts. getting her to return call in emergency for get it. I was being put threw hell and she did nothing. She actually ended my with me losing 16,000. She was never prepared for court, always late, would meet with her clients at star...bucks! No folks not kidding when I let her go she said good as she didn't have the time for my case in the first place!! well then don't take someone's money and then do nothing!!!! I am turning her in to bar assoc., with proof of my claim...

I hired her to represent my son in Kings County. She took the money and then basically gave the case to her assistant, who knew nothing about what he was doing. He agreed that Benninghoff was not doing her job, and apologized for her, but that did not help my son's case. I had to fire her and hire... a "real" attorney. This was the day after she called me up to tell me off for speaking to the DA about what was being done and found out she was not only incompetent, but lying to me.
