Dallas Carl Simkins

I will be grateful to Dallas all the days of my life. He understands the significance of court battles for child custody and preserving relationships between co-parents and families, even in highly difficult circumstances. There is no doubt in my mind that he aims to first preserve a marriage and fa...mily unit. If that is not to be, he is very wise, supportive and also highly empathetic in helping a client proceed with the divorce process in the best possible manner. This was my experience with Dallas. He went above and beyond the call of duty for my immediate Butler family and I. He even offered to have family phone calls with us all which helped all of my family and I to better be on the same page and remain united throughout all stretches of a highly difficult family and legal situation. My family and I love Dallas and consider him a part of our family. There is not a person on the planet that I would not recommend to Dallas given a need for his services.

We retained the services of Dallas Simkins in our attempt to gain grandparent visitation.  Mr. Simkins was careful to point out that such cases are rare, but that our situation did meet the requirements under California case law.  He also warned us that the process would likely take about a year, tha...t it would be relatively expensive, and that there was no guarantee of winning.  He was very careful and thorough in preparing our case, and did an excellent job of keeping us focused on what we needed to prove to win our case, letting us vent when our emotions got to us, sympathizing, and then reminding us what was necessary and what was just "noise".  He asked appropriate, pointed questions of the court-appointed evaluator, which the evaluator answered in his report to the court.  We believe that this, more than anything else, led to a successful resolution of our case.  We were consistently impressed with Mr. Simkins's demeanor, knowledge of the law, and patience with us through this long emotional ordeal.  We believe anybody would be lucky to have him in their corner in a similar situation.

Dallas helped me with an alimony matter where I was being dragged back to court four times for more alimony when it was already concluded. The first few times I represented myself. Then.... I found Dallas! Tadah!! He read the fine print of orders I didn't even know were given, in the minutes of the ...case. Wow. He slam-dunked this issue legally, professionally, and with humor.
