Excellent Probate Attorney

I reached out to Greg Chilina after my family asked me to manage the estate of my step-mom who passed unexpectedly. The will had not been updated in 46 years which brought its own challenges as well as easement issues on the 11 acre property which needed to be prepared for a sale. Greg was supportiv...e, knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. He made regular contact with me and provided clear and concise written communication that assisted me in keeping the heirs apprised of the progress of the estate settlement process. In our situation we also needed an experienced CPA. I asked if Greg could recommend a local firm which he did. Not being from San Luis Obispo County, I appreciated the professional relationships Greg developed in the local area as my family benefitted from those services including real estate, banking and an accounting firm. Excellent Attorney

I contacted Greg Chilina after receiving a letter threatening legal action against me (successor trustee) from a beneficiary of my Mom and Dad's estate. Shortly after the letter arrived, I was served at my front door with a lawsuit from the attorney of the beneficiary. I met Greg in his office, inund...ated him with questions and his answers were clear and to the point. He provided reassuring counsel and advice. I trusted him and he certainly knew what he was doing. Everything went smoothly and everything was explained along the way, from litigation to mediation. Straightforward, consistent, excellent service

My husband and I hired Greg Chilina after working with another attorney for over a year with little progress. The defendant was unresponsive to all notifications, until Greg Chilina stepped in. We found him by referral from the SLO County Bar Association and I’m grateful we did! He listened to the en...tire, complex situation, gave us multiple scenarios for next steps and let us know how much to expect to spend. His estimates were accurate, his team communicated quickly and effectively with all involved and the result from mediation (excellent group recommended by the Chilina team) was the best we could have hoped for. The defendant, as trustee, had greatly reduced the estate, lost valuable property, heirlooms, etc. and looked judgement-proof.
