Peter Chang

I spoke to Mr. Peter Chang today. I was referred to him by the Ventura County Bar Association. I was told I would have a 30 minute consultation with Mr. Chang, and qould be ablw to discuss my case, and that he would inform me if he could help or not. I spoke for roughly 4 minutes explaining my si...tuation, during which i was interrupted. He told me his fee would be $3,500 and asked if i could pay, I said yes, and he proceeded to ask me for payment information. I stopped and told him i thought i would be getting a consultation. He asked me if i was "looking for free advice." I explained that i could pay and that was not the issue, but was concerned that he hadnt heard the details of the case and was asking for payment. He asked 3 more times if i was looking for free advice and then explained that i had messed up the process and he would have to go clean up the mess i made. I ended up saying i did not need his help and hung up.
