Rude!

I contacted him through Metlife Legal Plan. He was rude right from the get go. Demanded my member information. Barely gave me a chance to speak. Was extremely condescending. Told me he had nothing more to say unless I was willing to pay the retainer. I wouldn't hire him if he was the last attorney on... the planet.

Horrible Customer Service

I contacted him through Metlife Legal Plan. I left a message and he called me the next day when I was picking up my kids. He asked for my Legal plan code (to get the fee). I told him that I would call him back in 30 minutes and when I did three times, he never picked up the phone. I then saw his text... message saying that he had a incoming call and would call me the next day morning. Next day he did not call me until 12:40 pm and I missed his call during lunch. I then called back twice, and he finally picked up the phone. I tried to explain what happened with my legal problem, and he seemed to be inpatient and rude. Like the other reviews stated, he asked me what did I want to pay him resolving my legal problem? How did I know. I was asking him questions and he did not even listen and told me to contact civil lawyer and then hung up the phone. What a customer service!! I 100% DO NOT recommend him to anyone for his service attitude, even through my legal plan. Because he is not worth any payment for his professionalism!!

Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional

I called this guy for some help regarding a speeding ticket. He was rude and arrogant, he doesn't listen, the guy loves to hear himself speak. In fact he'll hang up on you mid-sentence rather than listen to your questions or concerns. Peter Chang of the California Coast Law Office is unprofessional. ...When choosing your legal representation be sure to look elsewhere.

Rude, Derogatory, and Incompetent. Look elsewhere for your representation.

I was referred to Peter by the Attorney Search Network. It's my own fault that I didn't look at his reviews before hiring. Even during the consultation, he didn't want to hear what I had to say and just said he would be able to represent me. After hiring him and signing the contract, I reached out to... him multiple times to see what he wanted to do with my case, but he never replied to my texts or emails until I actually called him. When I finally got the court date, I asked him for advice on how to proceed and his responses were full of attitude. He also told me I had to be present for the trial, even though I did not need to (and I had hired him so I didn't need to be there physically in court). When I told him I was leaning more towards pleading not guilty instead of settling, he kept saying I should just settle even after saying my case was triable. It was clear he didn't actually want to fight my case and wanted to take the easy way out to save his own time. He also kept emphasizing how long we had already been on the phone which made it abundantly clear that he felt talking to his client was a waste of time. It was clear he was only concerned about collecting easy money rather than doing his job. I became very fearful that he wouldn't fight my case to the best of his abilities, and based on his reviews, he seems to have a history of not showing up for cases; I cut my losses and fired him. I ended up going with Adam at Ticket Crushers CA and he was able to get my case dismissed. If I had stayed with Peter, I would have had the speeding ticket on my record, but thank goodness I went with my intuition to terminate him and find a new lawyer. Peter's unprofessionalism is by far unmatched with any other lawyer I've spoken with. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your representation.

Lied to me, Unable to do simple traffic work

I got a red light ticket in Bakersfield. I wasn't able to go back to Bakersfield so I hired Peter to represent me. He rushed through the phone consolation He never showed up for the court date. When I went to renew my license I had an outstand ticket on my record. I contacted Peter who “Claimed” ...that the judge postponed my hearing. I contacted the court to find out that he never showed. After the second hearing I had to pay a fine and got 2 points in my license due to the fact of being a “No Show” to the first hearing. Then he had the nerve to ask for another $50 to cover his costs. The second I let his secretary that he never showed to the first hearing and it cost me points on my license and I would be contacting the Bar association for negligence of his responsibility, than the pestering calls stopped.
