I brought my case to Lustig Law after the child support office based my obligation off of my gross income rather than my net income . Being that I am self employed with overhead costs , this was inaccurate. I received several strong recommendations to go see Johnathan at this office , so I did . ...After meeting with all of staff and presenting them the case , I was told this would be very simple , quick , the retainer would only need to be $5k , and i would probably get some of that back . Things started out great and I felt confident . I was getting an almost annoying amount of phone calls from Johnathan with updates , news , discoveries , anything and everything that was relevant . At some point in september of last year , i received an email from Susan stating Johnathan would no long be working with them and that she would now be taking charge of my case . Thats when all of the phone calls and confidence went away . In addition to the updates stopping , there was not a single time that I was able to call in with info or request updates directly with Susan . I was just told that she was unable to take the call and she would call back . That never happened . When it came time for court , Susan had a tendency to have to reschedule hearings because she was on vacation or just double booked . On the days she did show up, she would have to go over basically the entire case every time, right in the lobby prior to the hearing because she didnt stay up to date on what was going on . So i would show up without a clue of what was going on and get slammed with tons info literally minutes before going in front of the judge . After being dragged through the mud , get reassurance again and again , I am now paying more than my original obligation was . And the best part , i am now north of $25,000 in lawyer fees . What i now have to show for is a compilation of unorganized emails with different orders pertaining to my case from Lustig Law that hardly make any sense . I was much better off on my own and strongly belive that Johnathan was the backbone of this firm . My parting email from Susan was very random and shockingly rude . Part of me didn't belive it was her that sent me the email as it came out of nowhere, and called me several different curse words . Crazy because i am literally one of the calmest and most polite people you'll come across . It really sucks to feel the need to write this kind of review but please , learn from my mistake .

When Jonathon left, my case went into absolute chaos. I hired because of Jonathon, and then suddenly, I hear he disappeared. My calls have gone unanswered, my hearings are constantly continued, and my bill is insane. With Ethan and Jonathon gone, the office is full of strangers who were not on the te...am when I hired. Susan worked well when she had Jonathon, but without him, i may as well have represented myself used ChatGPT. Because that's all she did. She is a stain on the bar.

It is difficult to express in words my gratitude towards Susan and Jonathon and the staff at Lustig Law. They did such a thoroughly amazing job, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I felt like they were right there with me in my corner, fighting hard for me the whole way through. They have ...even called me several times since my case ended in June 2023, just to check in with me and see how I am doing. I now consider them family friends, even though I hope I never need their services again!
