During law school, Mr. Connell clerked with the United States Department of Justice in San Francisco, and assisted Lewis & Clark Law School’s Low Income Legal Clinic helping to resolve unemployment compensation, residential evictions, and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy issues. Mr. Connell received his undergraduate degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Engineering in 1998 and worked for a large multi-national design-build engineering firm in Walnut Creek, California before attending law school.
