I am a certified specialist in appellate law, certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
I provide effective, aggressive, quality legal representation in the courts of appeal in California. As an appellate lawyer, I handle proceedings before the courts of appeal after judgment or decision in a trial court. I handle various civil matters on appeal, including real estate, probate and trusts, family law, contracts or torts.
Currently about 50 percent of my practice is in appeals and writs; the balance of my practice is in general civil litigation. In general civil litigation, I work with the complex team at my firm, where we represent religious institutions, businesses, and individuals in large, complex civil matters including business fraud, products liability, and contract actions.
The vast majority of appellate cases in California are unpublished. My published appellate cases are:
