I strongly recommend avoiding this attorney. We always paid him on time, but he repeatedly failed to handle even the most basic responsibilities. He filed paperwork incorrectly on two separate occasions, and both mistakes caused serious problems in our case. He also failed to tell us about a require...d mediation, which resulted in the judge being extremely upset. There was a court date where he did not show up at all because he went on vacation without notifying us. He often arrived unprepared and did not seem to know the details of the case. Several judges have expressed frustration with him in court. After hearings, he did not explain anything that had happened or what the next steps were. He would leave immediately and walk past us without saying a single word. He may seem more affordable at first, but nothing is handled correctly and you will spend more money having to hire a new attorney to fix his mistakes. Please save yourself the stress. You cannot rely on him.

All my paperwork were done all ready. All I needed Thompson was to be their and speak on my behalf. The worst lawyer!! He never showed up in court keeps on asking for continuous. The only paperwork he and his paralegal Adriana Duenez did was copy some of my old court paperwork that was filed and sti...ll managed to screw that up. Adriana can’t spell. There’s autocorrect spelling how can you mess that up? Thompson is quick to promise results but never delivers. The only quick thing he ever did was to take my payments. DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER HE IS A JOKE SO IS ADRIANA DUENEZ. The only 5 stars he gets is from his employees.

We used Mr. Thompson for a child custody case. In my opinion, he was very unorganized and just wasn't the aggressive lawyer we thought he would be. In fact, we got further with my fiancé representing himself, we lost time after hiring Mr. Thompson. He never told us when he wasn't going to be present ...in court, which happened on multiple occasions. He didn't always have his paperwork prepared or readily available. In fact, one time he said he didn't have the necessary paperwork that the judge asked for even though we had turned it into his office via email and in person. This resulted in us being served with a sanction to pay the other parties attorney fees, luckily he ended up taking care of that since it was his fault. If you're looking for an aggressive lawyer who will fight for you and is organized, keep looking.

I hired Mr. Thompson November 2019 to help with fighting a DVRO that was filed without my knowledge. This RO was so that my ex could pack up our house with all my things I had before him, and our 4 yo daughter and move to Visalia. This was June 25 2019. To this day, Mr. Thompson still has not been ab...le to process a simple DVRO against my ex. This last time in court, I was made a fool. He didn't show, not only that, but he led me to believe my ex had been served, and that a prior mediation appt had been cancelled. The truth was, my ex still hasn't been served, and I missed a mediation appt because he told me it was cancelled. I would've been so much better off on my own, instead, essentially I paid him to make my case even worse. Speaking of restraining orders, I'm already done filling it out, now I just send it in and wait for it to be signed. Then serve him. Boom. Done. He is worthless. Not sure how he can even practice law. But he needs to stop being a villain like the ones he is advocating he is against. Do not hire him. You will regret it.
