I strongly recommend avoiding this attorney. We always paid him on time, but he repeatedly failed to handle even the most basic responsibilities. He filed paperwork incorrectly on two separate occasions, and both mistakes caused serious problems in our case. He also failed to tell us about a require...d mediation, which resulted in the judge being extremely upset. There was a court date where he did not show up at all because he went on vacation without notifying us. He often arrived unprepared and did not seem to know the details of the case. Several judges have expressed frustration with him in court. After hearings, he did not explain anything that had happened or what the next steps were. He would leave immediately and walk past us without saying a single word. He may seem more affordable at first, but nothing is handled correctly and you will spend more money having to hire a new attorney to fix his mistakes. Please save yourself the stress. You cannot rely on him.

The worst attorney in Kern County. All he does is delay the case and he doesn't show up to court, costing both sides alot more money in attorney fees. Maybe when the other attorneys start requesting sanctions and requiring the parties that hire Thompson to pay their attorney fees then they will stop ...this nonsense.

All my paperwork were done all ready. All I needed Thompson was to be their and speak on my behalf. The worst lawyer!! He never showed up in court keeps on asking for continuous. The only paperwork he and his paralegal Adriana Duenez did was copy some of my old court paperwork that was filed and sti...ll managed to screw that up. Adriana can’t spell. There’s autocorrect spelling how can you mess that up? Thompson is quick to promise results but never delivers. The only quick thing he ever did was to take my payments. DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER HE IS A JOKE SO IS ADRIANA DUENEZ. The only 5 stars he gets is from his employees.

I don't regret hiring Mr. Thompson for my case. His service is invaluable in a time when the likelihood of getting a favorable resolution to my case was almost impossible. He is very straightforward and sorted out things in just a few meetings. This guy is trustworthy and worth your money. His staff ...are great and organized too. They always informed me of everything regarding my case. Will surely hire him again.

DO NOT HIRE! I hired this guy over a month ago. It’s been well over a month after I signed papers that should of been turned into the courthouse so I could serve the other party. The courthouse still has not received it and it’s been 6weeks and a few days since I signed the finalized papers. I called... the court and asked several times. After many ignored phone calls to this guys office I finally wrote a bad review on yelp(where there are many bad reviews) saying I had to report him to the bar, guess who got a phone call back that day. I am now attempting to get my money back and they are telling me they’re going to bill me for the work that was done, which I’m not really sure what work that was, consultation was free and there was a paper typed up that was never turned in. Either way I’m going to the bar association. DO NOT HIRE HIM It takes 5days for the court to process Papers and give them back its been about 44 since I’ve signed the small packet.
