I strongly recommend avoiding this attorney. We always paid him on time, but he repeatedly failed to handle even the most basic responsibilities. He filed paperwork incorrectly on two separate occasions, and both mistakes caused serious problems in our case. He also failed to tell us about a require...d mediation, which resulted in the judge being extremely upset. There was a court date where he did not show up at all because he went on vacation without notifying us. He often arrived unprepared and did not seem to know the details of the case. Several judges have expressed frustration with him in court. After hearings, he did not explain anything that had happened or what the next steps were. He would leave immediately and walk past us without saying a single word. He may seem more affordable at first, but nothing is handled correctly and you will spend more money having to hire a new attorney to fix his mistakes. Please save yourself the stress. You cannot rely on him.

We used Mr. Thompson for a child custody case. In my opinion, he was very unorganized and just wasn't the aggressive lawyer we thought he would be. In fact, we got further with my fiancé representing himself, we lost time after hiring Mr. Thompson. He never told us when he wasn't going to be present ...in court, which happened on multiple occasions. He didn't always have his paperwork prepared or readily available. In fact, one time he said he didn't have the necessary paperwork that the judge asked for even though we had turned it into his office via email and in person. This resulted in us being served with a sanction to pay the other parties attorney fees, luckily he ended up taking care of that since it was his fault. If you're looking for an aggressive lawyer who will fight for you and is organized, keep looking.

Very dishonest , unprofessional and incompetent lawyer. Kept making continuances on my case and making false promises about my case. Drug my case out for months on end. Clearly does not care about his clients. Spent thousands and got zero results. Highly disorganized and rude staff as well.... Please do yourself a favor and do not use this Attorney.

Mr. Thompson did such a negligible job with my child custody case. I honestly would have been better of representing myself. He would forget very important information in court to where it was just embarrassing; it's as though he has ADD. The other factor that irritated me is that he would too often ...flirt and joke around with my ex husband's attorney in court! This was regarding custody against a very abusive man and Mr. Thompson did not take things seriously for the life of him.... I wanted to cry!! I ended up hiring another attorney after 19 continuances who cleaned up his mess and helped me gain custody which ended up costing me money that I didn't have..... PLEASE do not waste your time on him!!!
