Paul Stansen short sale support

Mr Paul Stansen did an incredible job securing a short sale for my California home. The sale was not an easy one with both first and second mortgage lenders to deal with. From the outset Paul was direct and open on my options, alternate paths, benefits, consequences and finally and most importantly... recommendations. It is one thing to be presented with a whole package of information and quite another to have a clear path of reason a logic to make sense of it all. For that I was most grateful to Paul. He provided all the direction, documentation and clearly spelled out approaches as we worked through the process. We had a number of road blocks that Paul found ways to quickly overcome – from a number of buyers walking at the last moment to bank’s difficult path to obtain approval of my short sale package. I learned an immense amount about our banking system and there are clearly right and wrong tactics that can help secure the objectives or sabotage efforts. It was evident in hindsight to me but obviously foresight to Paul on the appropriate approach and action to take. He handled the banks and negotiators quickly and diligently and did not let packages sit long with folks who had action to let them know we were all on a clock and needed to respond appropriately. Although the entire short process can take some time – things happen very rapidly in bursts – and Paul was adept at staying connected with me and all the executing parties throughout. This included a number of folks including my realtor, various buyer realtors and a number of bank participants. His work ethic is amazing and because of his extensive expertise in the field was able to secure approval and final negotiations extremely quickly once and credible and secure offer was received. He also helped guide me and my family on the types of offers received and was invaluable in downs electing to the most credible. Paul’s negotiations with the banks were most impressive. Once he began the process he was able to quickly secure approval and outstanding terms for my loan balances for both first and second mortgages. Paul actually had to go through this process a few times and a few buyers got last minute cold feet and walked from the deal. Paul remained focused and positive and reassured us that eventually we would get the right buyer and finish the short sale. Our family was grateful for that reassurance and we confidently proceeded with Paul’s eventually securing a good solid buyer. Paul negotiated final terms with both banks within days and we finished all paper and with a great sigh of relief, finalized all docs and completed the short. It was a complex process and I only needed to review and sign docs prepared by Paul and he worked all other aspects. Paul did an amazing job for us and we are so appreciative of his long hours (weekends and late nights – he does not sleep!) and grateful he was our representative. Hard to imagine anyone more capable of walking through and executing this process – we were lucky to have him and relived and excited to move on finally with this chapter closed.

Attorney

He has successfully negotiated a loan modification on a first trust deed that I had been wrestling with for 1.5 years. He has also assisted me with several of my short sales and as a Realtor this has been very valuable. He kept my clients and myself informed and always did as promised.

Horrible experience

I hired Paul to help me with a loan modification and he failed to turn the documents such as bank statements, pay stubs etc. The bank called me and said that they had not received any documents. When I called Paul I would leave a message and he took 3 days to call me back. I asked him about the docum...ents and he jumped down my throat like I did something wrong. The bank continued to call me and say that they had only received a portion of the paperwork. Needless to say I am about to lose my home and he will not return my calls. Now I need an attorney to sue my attorney. I cannot say anymore because I am so angry that I would say something unprofessional and my post would be removed. DO NOT GIVE PAUL STANSEN A DIME! RUN!
