Sierra A. Taylor

Miss Taylor was appointed to be my public defender. However, she clearly did not comprehend the rules of court. She failed to obtain all Discovery and was not attentive in Court. Through several attempts of reaching out to her, she never returned one phone call or written correspondence. She did no...t interview witnesses or acknowledge evidence pertaining to my defense. In court, she hardly seemed to know me, let alone be at my defense. She was distracted easily, unfocused and ill prepared. She may as well have been the prosecutor, for there wasn't any indication in her "representation" that she was there to defend me. The result of course, is traumatic and life changing. I am completely befuddled how and why the County hired a novice to fill this important position. Miss Taylor failed to properly and fairly represent me and did not adhere to Court Rules or Constitution Amendments. My right to be given fair representation as stated in our Constitution has been gravely compromised by her negligence to fulfil her duties as Public Defender.
