I have a unique and most valuable technical background.  I practiced Landscape Architecture in California and Nevada, and currently retain my license as a California Landscape Architect: license #2064.  I began working in the area of Landscape Architecture more than 30 years ago, and became licensed as a California attorney in 2003.  My practice is devoted entirely to law at this time. 

I am also a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court.  

This background provides invaluable insight into cases which involve land and real estate damage issues.  As a Landscape Architect, both through education and experience, I have become familiar with the technical areas of geology, soils, hydrology, structures, and trees.  This dual background results in a substantial advantage over opposing attorneys, as well as opposing expert witnesses.  I am thus provided with the ability to simultaneously view an issue from the legal and tecnhical perspective.  The sum is far greater than the parts.  Some have said that my background provides an almost "unfair" advantage over other attorneys - in the area of real estate damage litigation.  

I am proficient more specifically in the areas of landslides, land subsidence, erosion, hydrology, tree related litigation and neighbor problems.
