Biography
For 13 years Chad served Ventura and Los Angeles counties as a police officer. During his law enforcement career, he worked as a patrol officer, field-training officer, gang officer, and eventually a major crimes detective. His peace officer service and training earned him an Advanced POST Certificate. Chad has investigated hundreds of criminal investigations in several different fields: DUI and narcotics, homicides, violent crimes, sex crimes, child sex crimes, domestic violence, and gang crimes. The former detective has testified as an expert in both gang crimes and narcotic investigations. In 2007, Chad decided to pursue a legal degree. His extensive criminal justice background gives him a unique perspective and skillset in analyzing clients’ cases. Chad’s primary focus is criminal law, but he is also involved in police use of excessive force cases. In his free time, Chad keeps in shape with crossfit and surfing.
