I got in some trouble and looked to the yellow pages for someone to help me out. He answered my call and was able to meet with me almost immediately. I had received a noise violation from the RPD for a party I had at my house ($1000 fine). His office was very inviting and I felt comfortable. After te...lling him my story he went with me to another office to speak with the officials in charge of my case. I sat silently as he spoke with the other party. We left the office and he told me that if they contacted me to give him a call. Months turned into years and I never received any calls or notices about the charge. I have done numerous checks in the court database and nothing has popped up in my name. A few years after that first run in with the law I got myself into another predicament. I called him up and again he was available immediately. We spoke about what had happened and what I should do. He gave me a retainer contract that I luckily never had to use. I am not writing to parade around that I got off, I understand that not everyone is as lucky as I was. Mr. Chapin will do everything in his power to help out those that come to him. On top of everything though, what I appreciated most was his understanding and willingness to help out. I live my life with a sense of relief that I know that there is someone out there who will help me in my not-so greatest moments. I have matured a lot over the years and try my best to be a good citizen, but I still memorized both of his phone numbers just in case.
