Catherine T Hergenreter

I am the founder and principal attorney of Hergenreter Trust & Estate Law, where I help individuals and families throughout Orange County, California, protect their loved ones, preserve their assets, and plan for the future.

Licensed to practice law in California since 2014, I focus my practice on estate planning, trust administration, and special needs planning. I assist clients with revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, trust administration, and special needs trusts.

Before establishing my own firm, I worked with established law firms where I developed and managed estate planning practices, advised families on trust and estate matters, and guided successor trustees through the administration process. My experience allows me to approach each client's circumstances with both practical knowledge and attention to detail.

As both an attorney and a parent of a child with special needs, I have a particularly personal understanding of the importance of thoughtful long-term planning. I am passionate about helping families with special needs children establish appropriate legal protections and plan for their children's financial security while preserving eligibility for important public benefits.

I founded Hergenreter Trust & Estate Law to provide clients with a more personalized and accessible legal experience. Clients work directly with me throughout the planning process, with convenient virtual consultations, transparent flat-fee estate planning services, and legal guidance tailored to their individual goals.
