I have been practicing law for more than 15 years. I am the owner and senior attorney of Tran Law Group. Previously, I was a founding partner of Palmer & Tran, but now I focus my entire practice on immigration law and is now the managing and practicing as Tran Law Group. My partner of nearly 16 years finally retired!
I have spoken on immigration law, workers’ compensation, and small business management matters at UCLA School of Law and Whittier Law School. I have also been a guest panelist at numerous EB-5 seminars including those put on by EB5Investors.com, the EB-5 Institute, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
And I have also taught Immigration Law and Business Legal Environment courses at Santa Ana College as an adjunct professor as well as lectured on immigration business visas at California State University, Los Angeles.
Fluent in Vietnamese, I immigrated to the U.S. with my family at a young age as refugee from Vietnam. I earned her undergraduate degree from Boston College, where I graduated with honors and earned my law degree from UCLA School of Law. Before dedicating my practice solely to immigration law, I concentrated on employment and fair housing law and worked on class action torts against public and private defendants.
I is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and served as the Immigration Law Section Secretary of the Orange County Bar Association. I am admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, the Central District Court, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. I currently serve as Chair of the Long Beach Grand Cru Board, a benefit in suport of Los Angeles Legal Aid.
