I got a notice on my parents door in California stating Sheriffs Office has attempted to contact me and they have documents / file number. I was arrested Oct 2021 for DUI after speeding and blowing a 0.00%. The DA never filed DUI charges against me, and I needed help to seal those arrest records one year after the arrest date. I contacted John to consult him about a potential criminal charge I might be facing related to marijuana cultivation. After talking with John, my experience with him was so positive while despite my situation not necessarily being positive, I felt compelled to write a review to express my appreciatio...n for his time and patience. When I called his office he took my call immediately and we proceeded to talk on the phone for about 40 minutes. He was very realistic with me about my situation and what to expect. There was no display of frustration or impatience as I continued to ask question after question. He did not make me feel like I was a burden to his schedule, pressured to stop asking questions, or display impatience after deducting that my best course of action did not require retention of legal counsel. He responded to each one of my questions with very detailed and comprehensive answers that demonstrated a deep understanding about the mechanics of the judicial system as well as the marijuana laws which are currently shrouded in grey areas. What really stood out to me was the patience he exuded and his willingness to divulge information without trying to push me to retain his services. He took 40 minutes out of what is probably the busiest time of his day to patiently answer questions for someone whom he has never met, someone who has not committed to his services, and he gave me legal advice without the slightest indication that he expected me to retain him. I have spoken to dozens of attorneys throughout my life and even though my experience with John was over the phone and for a brief 40 minutes it was clear to me that he is cut from a different fabric. I do not know what will happen with my situation and whether I will end up requiring legal counsel but I would recommend John to anyone who wants to get an unbiased, non monetary motivated, no use of fear mongering tactics assessment of their situation.
