Unfortunately for the defendant, many of those sales were directly to an undercover DEA agent. ... OUTCOME: 2 years, while co-defendant received 10!

Defendant was arrested and charged in United States District Court with the unlawful distribution of multiple weapons - including assault weapons - and the distribution of methamphetamine. The co-defen ... dant pled and was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison. Mr. Kent was able to negotiate a plea agreement for defendant with no mandatory minimum and received a recommendation of 57 months in prison from U.S. Probation. At the sentencing hearing, Mr. Kent successfully argued for a sentence reduction to 2 years!
