Read the other reivews and take heed. She doesn't return phone calls. Her staff is disempowered to do anything without her. Disorganized and doesn't remember the details of your case. She will not work to settle and will use your retainer as it suits her. I do not recommend her. Don't believe it whe...n they tell you she is well connected with the judges, it is just to get your money. Better attorneys out there and I fired her and got a good one who handled my case quickly.

She does not return phone calls unless you threaten to fire her. We won a judgement but she did not file the judgement. Repeatedly asked her to file the bifurcation documents which all parties had signed and she would not. Sloppy documents with incorrect information. Missing documents at trial. ...She likes to litigate and not negotiate. Likes to take your money and not get the work done.

Brenda did an excellent job handling my family law case. She was able to effectively point out mistakes that my previous lawyer had made in the case and strived to have them successfully corrected and changed. My ex hired a well known Los Angeles law firm to handle her case. The att...orney handling the case thought she owned the court room and was a real b****. Her approach was to try and bully me, the judge, and Brenda. Well, neither of these worked. In a nutshell, Brenda beat her up with facts and knowledge and the Judge also didn't buy into any of her redundant, regurgitation of facts not relevant to the case. Brenda held her own against this beast and didn't back down in any way, shape, or form. I was very impressed and proud of Brenda. I would certainly recommend Brenda to anyone needing an honest, reliable, knowledgeable attorney who will fight for what is right. Although my case is currently off calendar, I have a feeling it will be on calendar again soon, and Brenda will be my #1 choice for representation. For now, I'm only hoping that Brenda will willingly accept the invitation to represent me in the near future.
