Catherine Ann Lawler

Catherine was the second lawyer that I hired for my custody matter. The difference between her and my previous lawyer was immeasurable. Throughout this painstaking process, Catherine truly led me through it -all. She consistently explained things was patient kind and extremely hard-working. I will n...ever be able to thank her enough for her compassion and leadership. She is amazing at what she does and she puts her all into it. I will never stop recommending her to anyone and everyone that is a need of a lawyer that will listen and fight for you.

I retained Catherine to represent me in my divorce case, and I couldn't be more disappointed in her than I am. Catherine was inattentive to my case. If I wasn't following up, then nothing got done. She struggled to recall details of my case regularly. She failed to help me with strategizing/ ...preparing for my case hearing. She failed to provide me with accurate information or helpful legal guidance. She failed to file important documents regarding my case. She failed to gather correct and accurate information needed to be able to successfully negotiate on my behalf. Catherine was short tempered on the phone and very unpleasant to work with. She was down right mean, acting as if I should already be familiar with the process of divorce. Every conversation was dominated by Catherine and I left every meeting more confused and disheartened than before. Thankfully, I found appropriate representation and I was so relieved to feel I had someone who actually cared. Do yourself a favor, and find someone else. There are so many attorneys available to represent you! Catherine is overdue for retirement.

Ms. Lawler was amazing. She calmed me and guided me through one of the most difficult times of my life. She was honest and upfront with everything. She was very precise and clear on what I was about to face. I felt she handled everything exactly as she should have. She was amazing and I wouldn't... trust anyone else with my custody hearing.

Now that I have had another (wonderful) experience with a different attorney to handle the final loose ends in a difficult divorce, I realize how unhappy I am with Ms. Lawler. I never felt she had my best interests in mind, and I do not think she was knowledgeable enough when it came to my pension s...ettlement. I had to push her to get my divorce finalized, there was a lot of paper back & forth and LOTS of what seemed like unnecessary fees. Maybe she could handle a simple agreeable divorce, but mine was complicated and I had an uncooperative spouse....
