Initially, I sought out a career in law because I wanted to try life as a trial lawyer and because I throughly enjoyed the concept of using my verbal and thinking skills to help people. When I attended Loyola Law School, I entered training as a trial advocate when selected to the Byrne Trial Advocacy team, a hotly contested position for this nationally competitive six member team. That year, our team won the competition in St. Petersburg, Florida of the National Institute of Trial Advocates' Tournament of Champoinships. That victory was the first of many national championships won by Loyola's team -- it was also where I really got the trial bug.
Since graduating from Loyola, I have been engaged in a variety of litigation practices, forcusing over the past decade primarily on Family Law.

The best experienced and knowledgeable attorney, I've ever met. He made me feel like he cared and defend and fought for me on through all intense deposition. He assured me everything would be fine and eliminated all my anxiety and stress.

"Sharp, Strong & Aggressive"
In my experience with Steven D'Braunstein 's who I've hired for a second time, I found him to be very sharp, articulate, strong and one who stands for 'True Justice.' I have a very complex Custody Case involving Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Issues. Attorney Steven D'Braustein understands...
"I have known and worked with Steve for over 15 years. He is a skilled lawyer who works tirelessly for his clients."
"I endorse this lawyer. Steve is a very dedicated, hard-working and tenacious lawyer, yet civility never escapes him. He knows that in the courtroom the adversarial process identifies a "prevailing party", but outside the courtroom skilled counsel can make certain there are no "winners" or "losers". Especially in family law, where preservation of a co-parenting relationship can benefit minor children for years to come, that attitude should be the rule, not the exception."
