I came here to review Ms. Reinhold after some time because the encounter still leaves a bitter taste and was not surprised to see a similar review from someone else. Reinhold was brought in by my union to assist with a grievance. Despite my 5-star performance I was targeted by colleagues who fals...ified performance reviews to get rid of me because I had been a bit too vocal about some wrong-doing I'd seen at my job. At first, Reinhold herself had asked me to compile that information about the wrong-doing and whistle blowing part of the grievance. But as the process dragged on, at a later meeting when I brought it up and asked her if they were going to include the SLAPP aspect of the grievance, she yelled at me to drop it, and literally yelled at me saying "the union owes you nothing." Well, that came as a surprise because I thought the union was obligated to help me with the grievance. I'd paid my dues since day one. I ended up getting an outside attorney (on my dime) who I credit as the only reason I had a positive outcome. Had it not been for his calm guidance and support, I believe I'd not gotten anything. I'm now working at a new place with the 5-star performance reviews I actually earn and am a leader at that establishment. Living in fear for all those months when Reinhold was supposedly my only hope (until I got my own attorney) was one of the lowest points of my life. I know I wouldn't have achieved the same outcome had I only relied on her and the union. If you're reading this, you likely have no choice that she's "your" attorney (read the other person's review) and she's probably been foisted on you by your union. If that's the case, I recommend getting your own attorney.

Who does Ms. Reinhold represent?

Ms. Reinhold is an attorney contracted by CTA to help teaching unit members. When I was facing dismissal proceedings, one of the first thing that Marianne told me was that she represented the Union. I thought that the Union retained her to represent me. I am the Union. Ms. Reinhold never acted in... my best interest during my proceedings in my opinion. Ms. Reinhold did not admit exculpatory information into evidence. Ms. Reinhold referred to the evidence that I gave to her as "junk". I filed my appeal in Pro Per. I had to write my own petition for Writ of Administrative Mandamus. I seriously doubt she would have operated in this manner with her clients from the Teamster's Union. Ms. Reinhold has violated the rules of ethics as mandated in California Government Code 3-700, § D 1, as she is attempting to charge me $.20 per page for a client file which is mine, and I have been acting as my own attorney. I would never recommend Attorney Reinhold to anyone.
