I highly recommend River J. Morrell III as your attorney. When I needed someone to represent me in a highly sensitive and difficult case of STD infection, Rivers was the only attorney who was willing to help. After hearing rejections from over 10 attorney’s claiming I had no case because it could ...not be proven, Rivers validated my circumstance, stood next to me and fought diligently and professionally for me. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me for an attorney to finally believe my story and my plight and then take my case. From my first contact with Rivers, he was compassionate, kind and completely honest about the merits of the case. He explained the challenges that could arise, yet was confident I had a good case against the individual who had wronged me. The evidence to support this case was intimate and sensitive. Rivers was consistent in handling it with the utmost respect and compassion. He responded very promptly to my phone calls and emails answering all of my questions thoroughly. He deposed the individual I was suing as professionally and skillfully as one could imagine. The person’s defense was left in shambles thanks to Rivers excellent inquiries during the deposition. The entire office became my advocate. Every contact was met with warmth, support and professionalism. Rivers and Isaac used their breathe of knowledge and experience to settle my case to my full satisfaction. They handled the negotiations with the defendant’s attorney professionally, skillfully and assertively, insisting generous damages be awarded to me. Of course, in a case like this, one can never receive what one truly deserves, but Rivers Morrell fought my case and was able to represent me better than had I ever expected. This was my fist dealings with an attorney for a civil lawsuit. I was unsure what to expect and afraid I would never find anyone willing to understand my pain and suffering after what had happened to me. Rivers proved me wrong. Rivers was the quintessential professional from our very first meeting. I was very upset that it was necessary to litigate my auto injury case with the insurance company. Rivers explained the law surrounding these types of cases; gave me a history on the evalution of the laws; and then explained in... detail the process that would be followed as my case proceeded towards our assinged court date. During the following months, Rivers and his team handled all documents, responses, appointments, etc. He also ensured that a member of his staff accompanied me on depositons, doctors appointements, etc. to ensure my confidence during these visits and protect my rights. As the case ran its course, there were times that I became frustrated with what was happening to me and took my frustration out on Rivers. Rivers never became angry, upset or arrogant towards me. He responded calmly and professionally, addressed my concerns and we moved on. In the end, Rivers was able to resolve my case prior to going to court (which I was very grateful for) and for a settlement amount that was much higher than I anticipated or expected. Had the same case with another attorney who did not only win the case but made me feel not protected and helpless, by other people that was an attorney who was suppose to be one of the strongest.
