Sean Golding is a fantastic lawyer, who has been a pleasure to deal with and helped both my brother and me do resolve a tax matter that we were both VERY stressed about quickly and smoothly. After 20+ years of marriage I became aware of FBAR. Prior to that time I never bothered my husband about money that was his before we were married. In fact I never really care about it. Worried, confused and panicked about FATCA/FBAR with a letter from a bank stating that the IRS will be notified about an account that I’m only the “custodian” (elderly foreign national mother), I run some Google searches in order to get some direction of what to do.
