People like to ask why I continue to practice Family Law after handling hundreds of cases over the years. They ask because it is very emotional and complex and can put a strain on people who aren't even personally involved. It's not something many people will do by choice. I tell them I practice for the people. I practice for my clients. I like to tell a story to help capture the essence of my practice.
One of my favorite stories involves a client I represented. He was falsely accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife and pending the court hearing he was unable to see his two children. When I took the case, I worked together with my client to present his defense and to show the court he was the best parent to care for the children. On the day of the hearing we prevailed and my client was cleared of all allegations. He was also granted full custody of the two children.
The Judge ordered that the children be turned over to him immediately. When we walked into the court hallway, I stood next to my client as the two children ran up to him screaming "Daddy!!" My client began to cry tears of joy and thanked me for the believing in him and being there for him when no one else did.
It's stories like this and so many others that inspire me to work relentlessly for my clients. Divorce is probably the most challenging time any of us will experience in our entire life. The lawyer you choose can go a long way in effectively and efficiently resolving your case and helping you transition into a new chapter of your life.

Reliable and Realistic
When I first separated from my ex-wife over 3 years ago, I made the mistake of proceeding with the divorce without an attorney and agreed to a settlement (regarding Child Custody and Support) that would make anyone in their right mind cringe. After realizing the error of my ways, I sought an attorne...
