My brother (age 25) was taken to UCI med center with a diagnosis of catatonia. He had not spoken, eaten, or drank in days. While in the hospital he underwent treatment for his cataonia, showed slight improvements but still would not talk. When ECT was proposed as the next treatment plan, we knew we w...ould have to go though the court system for it to be approved since my brother would not speak. That is when we met Payson.
