The SITBF Is Worth The Weight/Wait

I chose Attorney Jackson because of the Jackson 5 and that they were born in Gary, Indiana. I am a CNA and my work industry is caregiving. My employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant at an assisted living facility for seniors is rewarding.. You must have the heart, patience, and drive to work wit...h anyone from pediatrics to geriatrics because we all will be in need of care someday in your life. That one day changed when on January 31, 2022 I suffered from a work injury that required workers compensation doctors, physical therapy, and counseling; however, my belief in God is first and foremost. Attorney Jackson was helpful in me seeing an orthopedic doctor and a podiatrist for my case because I too had pre existing health conditions that exacerbated my OA ankle work injury. Along with Crohn's disease a.k.a. IBD or irritable bowel disease, my over 7500 page medical history another case developed that qualified me for the State of California Subsequent Injury Trust Benefits Fund. I have never heard of the be SITBF prior to hiring Mr. Jackson. The SITBF that will compensate you for pre existing health conditions. I had three of them which exacerbated my current work injury. Not only did I receive weekly financial workers compensation from the former employer, I also received a WC lump sum settlement in 2023. My pre existing health conditions qualified me also for the SITBF. In 2024, the SITBF surprisingly paid a retroactive lump sum. Additionally the SITBF funding will pay me for the rest of my life. My case took over two years and be patient because health is your wealth. It can be frustrating when you don't hear from your attorney and not knowing the status of your case; however, the attorneys are not the judges that can either approve or deny a WC and SITBF claim. The journey takes time and you are not alone in it even though you may feel that way. Thank you both to Gary, Derek, and all the staff for your assistance. What a God send all of you are. My case taught me invaluable lessons.

Professional and compassionate

I reached out to Jackson and Jackson today, almost not expecting a reply because of the insignificance of the claim involved, only to have Mr. Gary Jackson himself call me back within minutes to advise me on how I could handle the claim myself. Mr. Jackson not only took the time to educate me on the ...process involved in submitting my claim, but clarified several points on which I had been misinformed and misled in my conversations with Worker's Compensation. He also informed me that, to my surprise, I was actually entitled to a fixed settlement amount in addition to the bare minimum I had been led to believe I could collect. I am certain I never would have learned of this on my own. I am beyond grateful for Mr. Jackson's invaluable counsel, but I find the kindness and respect with which he treated me, knowing he would not be representing me, simply overwhelming. Mr. Gary Jackson is the absolute best in my book, and I highly recommend his firm.

True professionals and I am most grateful for the service they provided

Gary Jackson of the Jackson & Jackson law firm has represented me through the entire process of my Workers Comp claim. He has been responsive, patient, helpful, and a wealth of information about the comp system and bringing my claim to a successful conclusion. I could not have asked for a more prof...essional and helpful lawyer by my side. The workers comp system is very complicated, with lots of twists and turns that make the process slow and laborious. Gary and his team took care of everything and guided me through the entire process. During the process of working on the Workers Comp matter, Gary identified that I was eligible for additional benefits through SIBTF. Bottom line ... ...
