My experience as a business owner makes me uniquely suited to approach legal representation from the business owner’s perspective.

Professionally, I serve as the lead attorney for a wide variety clients.  Although I supervise my clients’ litigation matters, my practice primarily focuses on real estate and corporate transactional law as well as estate planning.  I currently represent and manage a book of business which includes a large variety of real estate, corporate, and litigation clients and their cases.  Additionally, I service clients in need of contract law matters as well as estate planning and tax law issues.  I have a diverse and profound level of experience, including, but not limited to, structuring estates and businesses, forming both for profit and non-profit business entities, preparing estate plans, administering estates, obtaining conservatorships and guardianships, protecting intellectual property rights, and litigating disputes that cannot be solved between the parties themselves.

Previoulsy, I was a partner in the Business Services group and Best Best and Krieger LLP. Before that, I founded and managed my own law firm, Kehr Law, for 12 years before joining BB&K. I provide corporate general counsel, technology, real estate, as well as trust, estate and succession planning legal services. I represent entrepreneurs, privately owned businesses and high-net-worth individuals. I provide legal services for a variety of individuals, entrepreneurs, investors and businesses, including start-ups and mature companies, across a broad range of industries, such as technology, software, Internet, gaming, insurance, manufacturing, distribution, real estate and professional services. He handles a variety of complex business, real estate, cyberspace and estate matters, both foreign and domestic.

At age 8, I started his first business, “Dan’s Bird Farm,” where I bred and supplied exotic birds to the four local pet stores in Huntington Beach. I enjoy spending time with my two boys, snorkeling, golfing, starting businesses, giving back to the community, feeding the homeless, traveling, watching sports and eating sushi.
