Claudia Mourad

Claudia Mourad has represented insurance companies, employers, and private clients with a focus on providing individualized attention.

Ms. Mourad's experience includes real estate, business, and employment litigation in state and federal courts. In addition, Ms. Mourad has represented employers before the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (now CRD), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board.

Ms. Mourad has prevailed on multiple motions for summary judgment that completely disposed of lawsuits without the need for trial, and has obtained favorable outcomes in an efficient and cost-effective manner through dedication and determination. 

In addition, Ms. Mourad has provided mandatory sexual harassment training to supervisors in order to provide the necessary tools to foster a productive workplace and prevent litigation, and has conducted investigations on various workplace complaints, including sexual harassment and discrimination.

Ms. Mourad began her legal career in 2001 as a corporate transactional attorney with an emphasis on securities transactions.

From 2002-2007, Ms. Mourad was an associate focusing on employment and real estate transactional and litigation matters.

Between 2007-2010, Ms. Mourad was a litigation associate that handled real estate, business, intellectual property, and employment litigation in state and federal courts.

From May 2010 to July 2020, Ms. Mourad represented insurance companies, businesses, employers, escrow companies, and individuals in state and federal courts. 

From July 2020 to June 2023, Ms. Mourad represented insurance companies, employers, businesses, and individuals in state and federal courts. 

From June 2023 to the present, Ms. Mourad represents employers of various sizes.

Ms. Mourad received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business and Corporate Law from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2001. Ms. Mourad received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier College School of Law in 2000, graduating in the top 15% of her class. While at Whittier, Ms. Mourad was a member of the Whittier Law Review, and received a Dean's Merit Scholarship and The Frank M. Doyle Scholarship. Ms. Mourad also received the CALI Excellence Award for Pretrial Litigation Skills, and the American Jurisprudence Award for Professional Responsibility. During law school, Ms. Mourad served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Lawrence W. Crispo (Ret.) of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Ms. Mourad received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of California, Irvine in 1997.
