Valerie Bradbury was drawn to the law from an early age and has been working in the legal field now for nearly twenty years. She started in 1998 with a firm in Northern California and moved down to Southern California to open a new office for that firm. Valerie completed two degrees while working for that firm.
Valerie graduated with honors from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors Degree. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California. While at Whittier, Valerie traveled to France and Spain to study International Human Rights. Valerie completes far more than the required continuing legal education units, particularly those focused on legal ethics and civil litigation, as part of her post-graduate education. She applies this principle to her everyday work as well, applying more than best practices to all of her casework.
Valerie has been practicing as a licensed attorney for nearly a decade, almost entirely in plaintiff litigation. She was the Managing Attorney for a personal injury law firm for a few years. She started as the sole employee from day one of the firm’s inception and built if from the ground up to be an extremely successful law firm with a staff of 30 in three short years. The firm was so successful while she was Managing Attorney that they were able to purchase an office building in Newport Beach. Her personal caseload included the Chatsworth Mass Tort Litigation, which settled for $200 million.
Valerie Bradbury believes that giving back to the community is of the utmost importance. For this reason, she has devoted her time and services to volunteering in a multitude of charitable organizations. She has done volunteer work for The Learning Rights Law Center, The Orange County Public Defender’s Office, and The Human Rights Project. She has focused her volunteer efforts on fighting for rights, civil rights, special education rights, and international human rights.
