Matt R Cadwell

It has been an amazing experience in what could be the most stressful time in someone's life. I'm extremely lucky to have worked with such an amazing group of professionals who were supportive, caring and treated me with the utmost respect. Matt Cadwell (Managing Attorney), Maggie, Susana, Ashley, Ri...chard and Kimberly were amazing (there are probably a few others that have helped - it felt like I had the entire firm on my side)! They were relentless (in a good way) and kept me aware of what was going on with my case at my pace. They were extremely responsive to any questions I had. Matt was an amazing individual - he truly tried to keep my options open and gave me different routes we could take - balancing financial and time concerns. He never quit and always had a plan in place if certain avenues didn't pan out - this was a very intricate dissolution. I'm fortunate that we were able to get a resolution and it was worth the time and investment. Overall I’m very thankful for all of everyone's efforts - especially Matt's. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs legal support!

I whole heartedly would recommend Matt. The prospect of going back to court regarding child support/custody is already nerve racking so picking the person that is going to fight your battle is equally daunting. During the process Matt was very involved and knowledgeable about all the aspects of my ...case and realistic in the outcomes of each argument. I felt that I was making very informed decisions both in and out of the courtroom, he made himself available for communication whenever something unexpected happened and we were able to develop a strategy and move forward very quickly. The outcome was that I gained more certainty involving my child custody agreement and we were able to defend accusations against me not only playing defense but smartly taking to task opposing counsel. Matt dealt with a long standing issue I have that recurs and the issue appears to be questionable as it regards its ethics. The issue is about child support. Matt listened to my situation, researched it for CA specific application and proceeded to support my argument effectively. He succeeded in ...limiting the Court to the issues at hand, shielding me from the normal criticisms an apparent child support scofflaw is subjected, and presented the case to the Court in such a manner that child custody recriminations and allegations were not the primary subject. The issue is legally difficult, a state being CT, insists that no other states may alter its decisions regardless of the agreements among the states.
