Mr. Adams provides a wide range of services to franchisors and product manufacturers. From counseling companies on the initial decision to franchise, to navigating the myriad state and federal registration and disclosure laws; from drafting franchise agreements and disclosure documents, to developing internal policies and best practices for managing a franchise and distribution system; from negotiating with suppliers, distributors and other third parties, to litigation and arbitration.

Mr. Adams has litigated over a dozen trials to conclusion. Understanding that clients have different business and litigation objectives, Mr. Adams tailors his strategy in each case to address those objectives. However, he believes that the best pre-trial litigation resolution happens when opposing parties understand that he is able and prepared to try the case to conclusion.

Mr. Adams' employment law practice primarily supplements the collateral needs of his franchise clients. This includes defense of wage-and-hour and discrimination class actions, high-exposure single and multi-plaintiff litigation, trade secret and post-employment restriction matters, cross-border employment law issues and ERISA and benefits litigation.
