Bert Briones

I recently completed a chapter 7 bankruptcy with Bert Briones and Robin Lynn at Red Hill Law Group. I do not believe that any of us intentionally set out on a path that leads to filing bankruptcy, but life happens and if you do find yourself in a situation that requires you to go down this road,... I highly suggest giving Bert and Robin a call for the reasons detailed below. First, prior to contacting Red Hill Law Group, I was under a lot of stress because creditors were calling me on a daily basis asking for payments on my delinquent accounts. Also, I believed bankruptcy was my best solution, but I did not know who to trust and I was worried about the fees associated with filing a bankruptcy. However, during my initial phone consultation with Bert, he quickly put me at ease by detailing his experience as a bankruptcy attorney, explaining the process of completing a bankruptcy and that he offered the option of a payment plan, so I did not have to pay all of the fees upfront. Second, during my first office consultation I had the opportunity to meet with both Bert and Robin, Bert provided me with additional information about the options available to me and when the meeting had concluded I remember thinking I was in good hands and felt that both Bert and Robin had my best interest in mind. Third, there are steps that need to be taken by the client when filing a bankruptcy you need to complete an Indepth application, provide documentation such as income, assets, bank statements, and complete both a pre-and-post-bankruptcy session with a third-party vendor. However, Robin worked with me from start to finish answering all of my questions in a timely manner and guiding me through the process which was a tremendous help. Also, on occasion I had a question that Robin had to consult with Bert prior to providing me with an answer but she always got back to me via text, phone, or email either the same day or within 24 hours which was awesome. Fourth, we all have our own set of expectations of how we would like to be treated and my biggest expectation is communication, things do not always turn out as we plan but as long as I am kept updated of any situation good or bad it gives me peace of mind, both Bert and Robin kept me updated in a timely manner through the entire process. Fifth, there were a few bumps in the road from my end, but Bert and Robin were both patient, understanding, and continued to guide me through each step and when everything was completed it turned out exactly how they said it would, which was awesome. After making the very difficult decision to file bankruptcy, Mr. Briones made the entire process much more understandable. He and his highly valuable staff are organized, professional, patient, and supportive. After going through this process it would be foolish to attempt this process without counse...l and one with knowledge and integrity.

In the last year I went through a divorce, loss of job due to Covid and having to choose bankruptcy as the best option. Bert made the process extremely smooth. I was a little "gun shy" when looking for an attorney from the previous experience that I had (a personal injury attorney). However, I found Bert to be ver...y attentive, smart, ethical and so much more. 1- The price was right down the middle. I have not used this attorney yet due to saving for fee's. Mr. Briones offered to arrange a payment plan. Additionally (very important due to our situation), after calling several attorney's since Feb 2014, Mr. Briones was the 'only one' who (himself) brought up the knowledge on how to protect us d...ue to placed through Victim Witness Protection Program. When I brought up our situation to other Attorney's re: how to protect us in BK, they were still perplexed and didn't want to spend the time. This did not scare Mr. Briones at all. His main concern was to see we were protected and the extra effort did not seem to discourage him. Seem's he see's the big picture and thinks out of the box ahead of time to protect.
