Kimberly Katherine Trinkaus

In her role as Vice President and Senior Counsel for Irvine Company Apartment Communities, Kimberly is responsible for providing overall legal support to the Apartment Communities legal team, including advising on landlord-tenant issues, litigation matters, leasing matters and service contracts.

Since her admission to the California Bar in December of 2009, Kimberly's practice has been primarily focused on Business and Real Estate Litigation and Transactional matters. Prior to joining Irvine Company, Kimberly was an associate attorney in the Business Real Estate Group of Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP's Irvine office.

Kimberly has extensive experience in landlord/tenant litigation, City and County administrative hearings, fair housing and employment matters, and prosecuting unlawful detainer actions in both the commercial and residential context. She has litigated multiple real property quiet title actions, breach of lease/contract cases, employment disputes and habitability defense claims. Kimberly also has expertise in Rent Control and Affordable Housing issues, including the review and preparation of leases and/or addenda that conform to applicable program requirements.
