Profiting at the risk of her clients

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the professional conduct of Kathleen Alparce. It is my belief that her actions reflect a serious lack of ethical considerations. Specifically, she appears to impose significant legal and personal risks on her clients, seemingly prioritizing the opportunit...y to increase her billable hours over the welfare of those she represents. Additionally, I find it troubling that she has engaged the services of another attorney who has a documented history of disciplinary actions and disqualifications, raising concerns about the integrity of her practice. This choice suggests a willingness to delegate her professional responsibilities to someone with little regard for maintaining a reputable standing in the legal community. Such decisions ultimately do not reflect well on the legal profession.

Appear to compromise her client’s intersts to advance her own

Her written advocacy and analytical rigor were, at best, underwhelming. However, her street smart shocked me. She nearly succeeded in transforming what should have been a routine, low-stakes demand letter into a full-scale legal dispute by subtly undermining my legal position in correspondence with o...pposing counsel—an issue I did not immediately detect—and by provoking unnecessary hostility on both sides. In doing so, she compromised her client’s position in a manner that appeared to advance her own interests rather than those of the client.

Purposeful Conflict Creation + Fee Amplification

I experienced significant financial harm due to this attorney's practices. Upon reflection, her business model appears to involve two main strategies: Strategy 1: Provoking conflicts to instigate lawsuits, often dragging clients into legal battles involuntarily. In my situation, she managed to... provoke the opposing side without my involvement. Strategy 2: Extending a straightforward, hour-long trial into a drawn-out week-long ordeal, resulting in billable hours that far exceeded her initial estimate—24.5 times more. Additionally, her legal acumen is lacking; her reading and comprehension skills seem to be at a high school level, leading to ineffective courtroom debates. Ultimately, not only did I suffer losses, but I also incurred additional costs for the opposing counsel's fees. This outcome appeared to be of little concern to her.

Review of Legal Competence and Ethical Conduct

It is evident that the individual in question lacks the requisite skills to read, write, or engage in debate at a high school proficiency level. Nevertheless, she utilizes the services of an assistant to fulfill these tasks. It is pertinent to note that this assistant has a documented history reflect...ing ineligibility to practice law in California due to disciplinary actions taken against him in relation to his conduct with a former paying client. For verification, the following case numbers reference the Notice of Disciplinary Charges: 05-O-04235 and 05-O-04732. I encourage a thorough review of this information online for further details regarding the assistant's professional conduct.

Better suited for a career in used car sales

She is confident when she tries to get your business. She is incompetent in a trial and it seems that she did not or/and could not even do the basic preparation for her client. She is vicious when she chase after her client for her fees, after her disastrous failure. Keep in mind that she loses so b...adly that I have to pay the attorneys fee for guy I sued.
