In law school I was fortunate enough to intern for the presiding Judge of the Denver Probate Court where I saw first hand the difficulties, cost and toll on families going thru various Probate and Mental Health legal actions.
Working and volunteering in the senior industry has given me an opportunity to learn a great deal about the issues that older adults and their families face during the aging process. I realized an enormous gap exists between Estate Planning and how life actually plays out and sometimes seniors and families get caught in the middle.
More often than not, disputes in the areas of trusts and estates arise because people don't understand the law and family dynamics come into play. Many of these conflicts can be resolved prior to litigation.

Setting up a new trust
I'm comfortable with Jennifer. She explains things in a way I can understand . If I don't she will continue until I do. Always easy to reach.
"For years, Jennifer has been at the top of my referral list when someone asks for help with an aging family member. She is passionate about this area of law and dedicated to her clients. The combination makes her an excellent advocate."

"Ms. Lefton is a very competent, ethical, and hard-working lawyer. She is especially adept at relating to the elderly. Her experience and good character have earned her an exceptional reputation in the local community. I highly recommend her! I endorse this lawyer."
"I have had the pleasure of working with Jennifer on a number of matters over the course of the last year. In our profession, working with smart, dynamic and creative people is common. But what is not as common is working with someone like Jennifer, who among the attributes previously mentioned, is also a dedicated advocate to the young and old. She is genuinely driven to protect those that are vulnerable and unable to protect themselves. Jennifer's approach to the practice of law is getting it right the first time and making sure all interested parties are treated fairly and equally. She is tireless and I proudly endorse her!"
"Jennifer has that rare combination among lawyers: highly competent, looks at problems with an eye toward common sense solutions, and truly cares about her clients. I would highly recommend her services."
"Jen use to be my co-worker and colleague before I moved to Atlanta. She is attentive, dedicated, and hardworking. She works not only in estate planning, but also for elder law and children's advocacy. I fully endorse this lawyer!"
"I endorse this lawyer. Jen is a tireless, caring advocate for her clients. She donates countless hours to charitable organizations that care for the elderly. I wholeheartedly endorse her."
