Jeff Nickerson Estate Plan Review and Planning

Mr. Nickerson did a complete review of our family estate plan earlier this year and helped us implement important changes that brought our documentation in line with our wishes and current tax law. During the process we found that, much to our surprise/disappointment, our previous plan was completel...y out of date and needed major revisions. Prior to starting the review we were given a concise explanation of how long it would take, fees, the need to gather pertinent information, and what specific services the law office would provide. Initially a detailed analysis of our current plan was done in order to see where we stood. With the many changes in inheritance and gift law over the last decade it became clear that we needed to go back to square one and completely replace the document. The fee structure was more than reasonable and we immediately started to assemble the appropriate documents. The staff's guidance in this regard was most helpful. We met several times over two weeks in order to get the document right. They were very understanding of our occasional confusion and Mr. Nickerson's genuine sense of humor helped establish a very pleasant work environment. Their willingness to make themselves available at times convenient to my wife and I allowed us to knock this out in a little over two weeks. I can recommend Jeffrey Nickerson whole heartedly and without reservation.
